Before you start

Is oBot for Gladiatus free? New

Partly. Free: automatic expeditions (also with low health), event areas, healing with the food in your bags, food collected from packages, work when you cannot fight, autologin, game mail reading, Telegram notices and link, log. Premium: arena and Circus Turma, dungeons, automatic equipment, purchases and sales, Pantheon quests and training. Whoever installs the bot gets a 3 day trial with everything on. Charts and the choice of bot language are free too; you can get premium for free by bringing a friend.

Does my OGame or Ikariam premium also work for Gladiatus? New

No. Premium is for your oBot Gladiatus account; OGame and Ikariam have their own. Packages and prices are the same for every oBot bot. You pay from the Premium tab of the panel, by card or PayPal.

Can I get premium for free? New

Yes, in two ways, from the «Free premium» box on the Premium page. With «Bring a friend» a friend who installs oBot writes your code and you both get 3 days of premium. With «Transfer your premium» you move the premium you have left to another account of yours in the same game, only once and with no way back.

Does the bot spend rubies? New

No, never. It attacks on expeditions without rubies, buys with gold only and never items that cost rubies, and restarts quests only when it is free.

Which servers does it work on?

On the official Gladiatus servers (addresses *.gladiatus.gameforge.com), in any game language: the bot reads the page data, not the texts. The bot panel is in Italian or English: the server language by default (English if the server uses another language), and on the Tasks page you can pick the other one.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on a computer, with the Tampermonkey extension. On Chrome you need to turn on the extensions developer mode. Mobile browsers are not supported.

Can I get banned?

Using any bot is against the Gladiatus rules, so a risk always exists and you use oBot at your own risk. The bot works in your browser, in your game session, one request at a time and respecting the cooldowns, and only does what you could do by hand.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The first time you open the game with the script installed, the bot creates your oBot account by itself, tied to your player and your server.

Daily use

Does the bot work with the browser closed?

No. The bot lives inside the game tab: you need a Gladiatus tab open, even in the background.

The bot stopped for hours: why? New

Almost always because Chrome suspended the tab (Memory Saver and Energy Saver) or the PC went to sleep: while suspended the page runs nothing. When it happens the bot tells you, on the page and in the log. To avoid it: Chrome settings → Performance → «Always keep these sites active» → add [*.]gladiatus.gameforge.com, otherwise the background tab stops; keep the game tab in a separate window and do not let the PC go to sleep. If instead the session expired, autologin takes care of it.

Why does the bot not attack?

Look at the «Right now» box in Home: it says whether expedition points are over, whether it is waiting for the cooldown (with the time of the next check), whether health is below the threshold and food is missing, whether the gladiator is working, whether the game refused the last fight, or whether another game tab is working. Also check that «Attack in expeditions» is on and saved in the Fights tab.

The game refused a fight: why does the bot not retry right away? New

So as not to flood the server with useless requests: after a refusal the bot waits from 2 to 15 minutes (longer at every refusal in a row) and the «Now» box shows the time of the next attempt.

Do I have to change location and enemy by hand as my gladiator grows? New

No, if you leave them on «Automatic»: the bot picks by itself, across all unlocked locations, the enemy that pays best (how often you beat it times the gold it gives), tries new enemies within reach and drops those that beat it; at every new level past defeats weigh less.

Why does my gladiator go to work? New

Because «Go to work when you cannot fight» is on («Recommended settings» turns it on too): when expedition points are over, or health is low and there is no food, the bot sends it to work for the chosen hours. While working it does not fight, not even in the arena. If you do not want it, turn the option off in the Work section and save. If a food purchase has already been requested, the bot waits for it instead of sending him to work.

Does autologin know my password? New

No, the bot never stores your password. On the lobby it only presses «Play» on your character, as long as the browser still has access to your game account; if the lobby asks you to log in, it is up to you. At most 3 attempts per hour.

Why does the arena not start?

The arena is premium and starts from level 2. Check in Home that premium is active and that «Fight in the Provinciarum arena» is on and saved. The arena starts only with at least 50% health: below that the bot eats first and, without food, waits; while the gladiator works it does not fight. The bot only faces opponents it expects to beat at least one time in two: if nobody reaches 50% it tries again in 2 hours, and the log says so; after 6 hours without a candidate it fights a trial fight against the most likely one above 35%. After 4 defeats in the last 5 fights the arena pauses for 2 hours (see the question below).

Why did the bot pause the arena for 2 hours? New

Because it lost 4 of the last 5 fights: the opponents are out of reach and going on would only cost health and food. The log says so; the arena resumes by itself after 2 hours, or sooner if you level up, put on a new weapon or train 10 stat points. If it happens again on the same day the pauses grow to 4, 8 and then 12 hours; the Circus Turma has its own streak and pauses. An opponent fought 5 times on the same day is also skipped until tomorrow: the game would give no more gold.

Does the bot stop with low health? New

First it eats the food in bag I. Without food, if «With low health, fight only the weakest enemy» is on, it keeps going on expeditions against a safe enemy (the one it has beaten most often in the last 7 days, or enemy 1 with a fixed location) as long as health is above 10%; otherwise it waits for health to regenerate. Keep «Collect food from packages» on: food arriving in your packages ends up in the bag by itself.

Why does automatic equipment start off?

Because in Gladiatus a worn item gets bound to your soul and can no longer be passed to others. Turn it on only if you are fine with it: from then on the bot wears the best items from bag I and your packages by itself.

Does the bot dress my companions? New

Yes, with automatic equipment on (premium). After the gladiator it dresses one companion per round, taking turns, with the best pieces from the bag and packages that the companion’s level allows, up to 4 per round. The log says «Companion …: Worn…». It never sells what a companion needs.

Does the bot sell my jewellery?

No. It sells only weapons and armour that do not beat what you wear; never jewellery, food, potions, powders, materials or what you wear.

I have several Gladiatus tabs open: do they all work?

No, only one works (the «leader tab»): so the same attack never starts twice. The others say so in the «Now» box. If you close or reload the leader tab, another one takes its place.

If I reinstall the script, do I lose my settings?

No. Settings are stored on the oBot server, tied to your game account: you find them again after a reinstall or from another computer.

Which profile should I choose? New

The one marked «recommended», or «Automatic» if you want the bot to change profile when your gladiator changes. The recommendation depends on premium, level and the results of the last 7 days in arena, Circus Turma and dungeons, and the bot tells you why. Before applying it asks for confirmation and makes a copy: «Back to the previous settings» puts everything back as it was.

I changed an option by hand: does the Automatic profile overwrite it? New

No. If you change a profile option by hand, Automatic turns off and your choices stay. To turn it back on, tap «Automatic» again in Ready profiles.

What language does the bot speak? New

Italian or English, in the panel, the log and the Telegram messages. By default it uses the server language if it is one of the two, otherwise English; on the Tasks page, «Bot language» box, you can pick the other one (for example an English server with the bot in Italian). The game keeps its own language.

Why are the charts empty, or different on another computer? New

The charts fill up as the bot fights, spends and earns, starting from version 0.1.19. The history you see stays in the browser for 60 days: another browser or another computer has its own charts. Since 0.1.22 a copy of the day-by-day numbers also goes to the oBot server every half hour, so we can see how the bot works.

Telegram

Can I use the same Telegram chat as OGame?

Yes. The Gladiatus token is different from the OGame one, but you can send both to the same chat: you will receive the notices of both games.

I do not get notices on Telegram

In the Telegram tab press «Check link» and then «Send a test message». If the message arrives, check in the Fights tab, Alerts box, that «Notices on Telegram» is on and saved. Notices arrive when you level up and when food runs out.
